Couldn't add a poll to the other Post so I just made a brand new one.
Just click on those things you'd be interested in playing, should I think of anything else I'd be able to run, I'll add it later.

I know PbPost does not mean that the RPG books are involved however...I have them ALL on PDF and can make them available to everyone.

While that is true, you consider the PC's will need to at least follow the lore of the world we end up in so as such the books are helpful in that respect. However meeting a drow in Stars Wars wouldn't surprise me ub he least. I mean there's Orcs, and Gorn in it.

Actually I still intent to use the books pretty much as normal, the only difference will be in combat, which will need to be changed a bit just so it runs more smoothly. But when you try to unlock a door by hotwiring it, it's a simple matter to roll a 'mechanics' roll, and post the results. Shouldn't be hard, and keeps the fun of it being an RPG. I'll post my ideas for making combat better sometime later today after my day of work.

Alright lets see them when you can post them I sure those of us who want to play this could probably get a system like that down pat in a matter of posts if we put our oddly similar minds together.

Here's my ideas for combat.
I post that combat has started, in the meantime I also roll initiative for all NPC's and for the group. A single roll for both the PC's and a single roll for all NPC's. I will simply use the highest initiative amongst the group and roll with that. This is done to cut down on back and forth posting, which is one of the major things that slow down combat in PBP.
Then everyone posts their actions, I'm thinking of something like.
Description: Blabla, a nice descriptive version of your actions.
Standard Action: What you're using your turns standard action for. Move Action: What you're using your turns move action for. Swift Action: What you're using your turns swift action for. Reaction: Here you indicate the reactions you intent to use if attacked, like block/deflect. I will allow you to change this later on if you want to, knowing what you are actually attacked with. But you can still post the initial thoughts here.
Once everyone has posted, I will post what the NPC's are up to, then the players are up again.
Using this system, which is very close to regular play I think. We would do about 1 round of combat per day. Which means 7 rounds of combat in a week. Which I think isn't bad, very few combats last longer then that in my experience.
