Sangrias wondered what in the name of the Abyss was going on here.. a staff that healed? That sort of thing is supposed to be a fairy tale, legends of the old gods that no one believes in anymore... and yet right before his very eyes his older brother...touched by this blue crystal staff, the staff glowing a brilliant blue... and the vicious opening in Donovan's neck closing right before Sangrias's eyes...
Sangrias's eyes turn towards the gray scaled, horned, tailed , purple eyed man... Adamant... who raced into the middle of the fight with Beni.. but, rather than attacking either Sangrias or Beni, this Adamant immediately sought to save Donovan's life... an aura of calm and peace seemed to pour off this strange looking creature who talked of fairy tale gods and dragons.. and what the hell were these dragonarmies anyways that Beni had told Donovan about? What the hell was a " Takhisis" ?
And for that matter what the hell was that talking bird ? .. TWO talking birds, one that walked like a man and a smaller one flying above the man sized one...the bigger talking bird seemed to fancy himself a comedian... but was he a madman? He'd kicked the other madman.. the raging beserker human.. Eolaer?.. down the hole... then spoken words of magic.. and Eolaer was floating, light as a feather ... then the madwoman jumped down the hole right after Eolaer hollering about the blue staff.. Za'era... and how the hell did her skin get so dark anyways? Elves aren't supposed to look like that
(note - in game terms very few people know of the drow, who stay hidden beneath the surface away from human society... )
anyways... she was beautiful enough true but why were her eyes pure white? No pupils, nothing...
The barbarian-looking elf.. Nine.. seemed to be the only sane one in the group.. cursing the talking bird-man he'd vanished... and reappeared with the blue staff and a grappling hook he'd apparently taken from Eolaer... and then used the grappling hook to rescue this Eolaer and Za'era... on the other hand what were those two hobgoblins doing calling Nine " master?" ... Everyone knew hobgoblins were scum of the earth... and they were calling the bird-man "master too "... had it been the right idea, sending his brother off with the two hobgoblins ... had he sent Donovan out of one dangerous situation only to land him in another one?
(DM's NOTE.. since Rin and Nine weren't actually present at the part of the FG game session when the hobgoblins were ordered to go to the nearest city , they are actually waiting outside the ruins of xak tsaroth for you in the swamp since I as the DM do not know if this is what Rin or Nine's players would have wanted their hobgoblin "apprentices" to do ... mind you no one in the group knows this, far as you know the hobgoblins have already left the swamp Donovan in tow
Though the title of the thread is "Sangrias eyes his new friends" anyone can feel free to jump in and post on this one, say whatever they like to Sangrias and so forth.. the events in this forum thread are assumed to take place directly after the events described in the Tues Sept 21st game session, while you guys are still in Xak Tsaroth ...)

.. Reika is currently not with the group however, her player is on a leave of absence so to speak and Daemy is not in the group so you can skip her entry too if you like.. )
