(This will be sometime after everyone has awoken and gotten their bearings, presumably after "Rin's Appraisal/Song".)
From deep within the dark hallway, footsteps echo in the distance. With his greatsword resting on his shoulder, Sangrias saunters into the camp. Looking at his bleary eyes and body language, he seems to have gotten very little sleep.
Rubbing his eye with his free hand, Sangrias looks around the area. He walks towards the wall, turning to lean against it, lowering his sword towards the stone floor. Looking somewhat preoccupied, he stares off into space, contemplating his next move....
[He has no idea what happened in the area after his departure in 'Rin vs Sangrias'. He's waiting for someone to fill him in on the party's next move in Xak Tsaroth, but if you wanna pester him with something else, go ahead.]

"Wow and I thought I didn't get much sleep. You look like you were treading through hell then laid down in a pile of dragon crap, before being tread on by many aroused rats."
Rin gets a bemused look on his face.
"Believe me I know how you feel, last night was.... eventful I'll give it that."

Sangrias winces at Rin's comments. Looks like a nasty headache to boot.
"I'd rather not talk about it. Are we moving soon?"

"I'm not sure. We''ll see."
Rin rubs his own head and looks around.
"I need to find something to help me sleep when stuff keeps going on. I think we need to find someone else to keep watch as well."

Sangrias grunts. "I suppose I can could help with the watch, at least."
His eyes narrow. "I count one missing. What happened?"

"Adam left I'm not sure why."
Rin shrugs.

Rubbing his temple, Sangrias lets out a long sigh.
"To fight on his own terms..."
He props his sword onto the wall and crouches low to the ground, his white cloak fluttering to the floor. Steepling his hands, he gazes over the campsite deep in thought. "...This won't be good."
Casting an scrutinizing eye to Rin, he mutters. "Are the others still willing to save this Mishkaal?"

Rin chuckles.
"Save her? You got it backwards. You should ask if she is still willing to save us. We drove away the monk some how. She might try and smite us now."
He mumbles to himself in an odd language.
"Anyway we have to decide what we are going to do. I'm still going to keep with the original plan. I'm more wondering what we want to do. Adam was kind of the unspoken leader of our little group. I was just the face and in some cases sexy legs."
Rin chuckles once more Tani seems to have fallen back asleep on his shoulder.
"Damn lazy bird. So before Adam left he asked if I wanted to be the combat leader of the group. Now while I have no problems with it as I will instinctively try and flank everyone. I wanted to ask if some one else would like that responsibility as it would interfere with my wonderful battle voice."
Rin taps his foot claws on the ground, it's obvious he really doesn't want that job.

Sangrias shakes his head. "In order to be an effective leader, you have to have loyalty of your followers. Eolaer seems to hold you with little regard, but it isn't unsolvable."
Drumming his fingers together, he continues to survey the situation in his mind. "As for who should lead, I think it should be obvious." Clasping his hands together, he points at Za'era.
"I don't personally care for her, but the rest of your little group has a soft spot for her. I don't think anyone would question her without reason. Still, she can be... volatile."
He bites his gloved thumb, still in thought. "As for me, as long as it leads to Takhisis's destruction, I shall follow."

Rin nods.
"Not a bad plan, still we need a combat leader. No offense to Za'era, but she would have us all shooting Eolear in the ass...... You know what she should be the combat leader then enemies will die laughing. Still we need to find someone who can deal with combat well. Za'era's beautiful and can very easily be the normal leader of us. Combat just seems to escape her, no offense again."
Rin sits down and taps the underside of his beak.
"I suppose we need to compare combat experience. That could help out a lot. I still prefer just being the face of us. The more fighting we can avoid by me talking us out of it the happier I am."

Za'era looks at Rin and chuckles a bit.
"I will just stay in the background during the combat and wake you up throwing stones the next time."
She grins.

"You can put something up my ass anytime Za'era...... I just said that out loud didn't I?"
Rin shakes his head.
"Well now that, that part is settled who has the most combat experience and knows how to work a battle to gain the advantage?"

Sangrias shakes his head again. "It's not a matter of actual combat experience, although it would help. Orchestrating a small skirmish is near-impossible without prior planning, and the smallest detail can be twisted to put those plans to nothing."
Tapping his midnight blue-clad fingers together while in thought, Sangrias mutters aloud. "In order to 'gain the upper hand', it requires a lot of trust and communication between allies, which is something that your group has had little success in. Positions, general roles and duties in battle... I think your group would have little patience for such things."
"It is a waste to even bother thinking over it if it will do no good."

"I agree with Rin though. I think someone should take the lead in combat. Every army is almost useless without a general. A hive is just chaos without a queen. We should not expect things to be done perfect all the time but maybe make sure that our flanks are safe and those who are more 'fragile' are well guarded."
She shrugs.
"But what do I know about battle and combat."

Sangrias grins. "Perhaps I wasn't clear. It is a waste to do so because no one would listen to your 'general'. They would ignore his warnings and orders, getting themselves and others killed for their ignorance."
"If they could control their impulses, perhaps it would be a different story. Alas, from what I can see, you have little grasp over yourselves."
