Well I had an idea and thought about it.... I know scary right? Anyway I got a feeling like that some of us are a tad bit bored. So I thought why not make our PC's B-Days for both the Drow game and the DL game. While it might not matter much in the Drow game, I don't really know what Drow do for B-Days. Erotic B-Day whippings with a side of public humiliation maybe? Anyway I could however see it easily integrated into the DL game, we'd have to ask Andre for the current date in the DL game. I would suggest someone put their PC's B-Day really close to the current date in the game. We could do the same in the Drow game.... might take a bit of out of the box thinking to find a way to do it but I think it would be very doable.
Anyway.... Poll time.

I have nothing against it, I just don't see it being a very 'big' thing. Serinda has already had over a hundred birthdays so she doesn't consider it anything very special, unless some specific number came up. It could be some good RP, but I don't see it as a huge special thing really, at least not more then any other RP topic.

I voted test it in both games at once ... current date in the dragonlance game is 12th day of Autumn Dark (12th day of November to use "real world" terms) and the current date can be found in the session recaps for dragonlance here , usually at the beginning of the session recap .. for example : whatifdragonlancedm.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sessionrecaps&action=display&thread=586The dragonlance names for the months and the "real world" month it equates to are listed here... assume that the number of days in a "real world" month is equal to the number of days in a dragonlance month.. for example November in our world has 30 days so assume Autumn Dark also has 30 days in that month, December in our world has 31 days so assume Winter Come also has 31 days in that month, et cetera... The people of Albanasia (the region you find yourself in right now) are most likely to use the elven names for the months in the table below.. goes without saying Serinda probably would too being an elf proud of her heritage and all ..

(though I could be wrong ).. even if you don't have anything for or against it I'd recommend voting anyways just to make things easier on poor darkalloy so we see where you stand ... personally I think it's a great idea though from the RP point I can certainly see Serinda going " Eh, another birthday , about 200 more to go for me ... why do you humans and bird-men make such a big DEAL out of these things anyways? No I don't want a cake Rin get it away from me -- what do you mean you're going to MAKE me eat it ? " ...

bump.. Madelaline what do you think far as making a note of Za'era's birthday in the dragonlance game ? And Valaun I know you don't have your PC written up yet (we should have Valaun's kender written up and ready to go soon though guys ) but what do you think of the birthday thing? I could easily see your kender keeping careful track of this and making sure all sorts of "attention" is paid to the PC in question on their "special day" along with Rin ...

I am fine with a B-Day. Not sure if Za'era would celebrate it and if she would keep it secret. Not because of the fact that it is a mysterious thing but because it is one of the things that connects her still home. I guess she would just let the day pass without telling anyone and hoping that no one would ever ask.
