During the "present time" of the campaign (the year 351 AC ) Aurian is an old elf, 323 years old - in human terms he looks as if he'd be about 69 years old, blind in one eye.. he wears the White Robes of a wizard of the Tower of High Sorcery.
Prior to the campaign he's known to two PC's, Serinda (her former magical tutor) and Mintha (the two of them adventured together along with others ... Serinda gave Aurian a "new lease on life " so to speak - he felt young again after being inspired by the huge amount of potential in his young (by elf standards) pupil and set out to try and acheive great deeds once again, meeting others - including the kender Mintha - in the process).
