Zane stands up, finished with his new routine. "He may have an anger problem, but, 'bear' with him. ( LOL .. you get 15 RP right now just for that joke alone Zane )

"A temper problem?!"
Udyr stands up abruptly and quickly moves toward Serinda pointing his finger in her face.
"YOU HAVE YET TO SEE ME TRUELY ANGRY! DON'T THINK FOR A MOMENT THAT BECAUSE YOUR A WOMAN THAT I HAVE ANY QUALMS ABOUT BEATING YOUR SILVANESTI ASS UNCONSCIOUS!"

Serinda glares at Udyr coldly, her only facial expression is a slight wrinkling of the nose.
"I have no desire to see you at all. I've had quite enough of humans who act as little more then savages, it's becoming harder and harder to see the difference between the humans we're trying to save and the draconian hordes themselves. And the fact that the gods are picking people like yourselves to represent them is frankly appalling... Is that the message of your god? If you don't like what a girl is saying it's alright to beat her up. Which god has chosen you? I don't recall any of the old gods promoting such behavior."
She crosses her arms and glares at him.
"Now get your finger out of my face. What's the point of fighting the evil out there, when there's evil among ourselves just as well. I'm not trying to stop the draconians simply so that humans can instead take their place as dark overlords of all lands. Every single human that's joined us in this fight so far has had the same tendencies to be cruel and a thug. The only exception seems to be Zane, which is most likely explained to his draconic parentage."
She contains to glare towards the human, but she does mentally prepare herself, so that she can teleport away faster then a blinking eye, if any of them make an aggressive move, she's entirely done with being beat upon by humans having a temper tantrum.

"Hah! Humans as the dark overlords, look at your own damn race, trying to enslave the Kagonesti because they don't follow your particular ways. Habbakuk chooses those who live in tune with nature, not those who wish to bend it to their will! Your damn race is no better than what you say about humans!"
Udyr pokes Serinda hard in the shoulder.
"SO GET OFF YOUR FUCKING PEDISTOOL!"

((Man.. took too long to post this.. Udyr already posted..))
Zane looks at Serinda when she says something about his parents before he steps in between Serinda and Udyr. "As much as I would like to see an ice sculpture in the form of a bear or perhaps a mauled elf that's magically delicious or an elf that magically disappears, I don't think this is the best thing we can do. You know, with refugees to get to safety and mountain dwarves to find." Zane looks at between the pair of them. "Once we find the dwarves and get those people to safety, we can plan our next move." Zane looks at Serinda. "I know you want to go back to your homeland and do what you can to save it, but we still need your help. As much as you dislike the savageness of humans, they still need your help." Zane looks Serinda in the eyes, "I still need your help. If you want to leave after we help the refugees, you can. If you want help, I will travel with you if you want. I haven't been to that part of this world and it seems like I should."
Zane glances at Udyr, "He does have his history correct. Right now, it doesn't matter if there is a better race or a race thinks it is superior to another. The more we fight between ourselves, the closer that army gets and the more power and fear that it gathers. We can't keep fighting like this."
Zane looks at the group around him, and shakes his head. "I am an outsider to all of this. My kind has been cloaked in legends and myths for centuries. From my point of view, it is not the race that defines itself, it is the members of that race that do. Look at the dragons. All that we have seen is the evil that they can bring." Zane looks at Serinda, Rin and Draug. "You know what I am. If I wasn't walking around as I am, I have a feeling that you would kill me on sight just because of what those bastards are doing. You wouldn't know that I was trying to bring hope to this world when it needed. I would become one of the enemies that we fight now. That's the things about stereotypes and racism. It prevents you from truly getting to know a person."
"All that I care about is that we do the best to do the most good we can." Zane stops talking and looks around once more. "All I care about right now is getting people to safety. You can fight all you want, as long as those people come first. I don't care if you hate each other. I don't care if you hate each others race. All I care about is the abilities we all bring and how we can use them." Zane looks at Serinda, "Deadly magic," then Rin, "more magic, healing and a smooth talker," then Draug, "a power house of a wolf," then Udyr, "a bear of a man and a healing," then Forman, "and a clean freak that can probably punch through plate armor and beat the hell out of the person inside. Then there is me and my bow and my special tricks." Zane looks down. "If we put our talents to good use towards the enemy, we could probably help win the war. We just have to put our petty differences behind us and work together."
"I just want to get this over with so I can get back to Laurana. You all have loved ones you want to get back to I think as well." Glancing at Serinda, "If you leave, I would like to go with. You could probably use my bow and you know I would attempt to protect you the best I could. I have tried to do that already.."

Forman says,
"Zeezh, kinda tense around here!!" Forman says jokingly.
"This is the thing form my perspective. I have been wondering around for the last six, seven years or so and I have met a lot of people. The great majority of them are human. We are a pervasive race, and we are vastly different from each other. There is a balance at work, for every evil human, there exists one committed to good. I think things have been set up like that by the gods. The gods granted us our great generality, there is nothing that a human cannot or will not do, absolutely nothing."
"The Order teaches that this balance can shift very fast if left unchecked. Stability is the nature of things but it must be maintained. If human's are given over to evil by this war, eventually we will be redeemed and our goodness will shine through."
"I think that it is obvious that the wold is swiftly sliding into evil, and unless action is taken then it may stay there quite a while. There will never be a better or easier time to maintain the balance. The more time that passes the harder it will be to set things right."
Forman address Zane,
"I thought you were a human, granted a strange human with a weak stomach. But a human none the less. So what then exactly are you?"

"I'm.. complicated." Zane simply answers, remaining between Serinda and Udyr. "But I do like your references to keeping balance. Although, by what you have said, if the world slides heavily towards good, humans would have to commit acts of evil to balance it out. Just a food for thought."

Serinda sighs and shakes her head.
"My people were trying to help the Kagonesti, the whole thing was a misunderstanding, but no matter what happened, I'm not here to justify the acts of every Silvanesti in ancient days. I'm talking about right now, right here. And the 'champions' of humanity disturb me nearly as much as our enemies do. Let's say we do save the world and save everyone, who do we leave in charge of humanity? Someone who thinks it's alright to beat up men as well as women when they say something he doesn't like, who flies into a rage over nothing. How is that any different then leaving them in the hands of the enemy?"
She glances towards Forman.
"I'm not interested in seeking out a balance between good and evil, I'm interested in wiping all evil away, and if possible, redeem as much of it as possible towards the light. If I follow your arguments through to the end, then it means if we ever do defeat the dragonarmies, you will turn on us instantly to prevent the balance from being broken. Clearly we aren't in this fight for the same goals. And frankly I find your idea of 'diplomacy' nauseating, are you going to torture every single person we encounter that doesn't freely give whatever you want?"
She turns to look at Zane.
"I fell in love with a drow, lost my heart to her, promised her my future and my soul. I do not feel that I am incapable of looking passed someone's race, that I can't believe in redemption. I simply don't see that these humans have earned it. If we win by sacrificing our own ethics, we still loose. It will simply be a slow slide into darkness as we become exactly what we've tried to stop. Surely your ancestor, you know the one I speak of, must have spoken to you of these things."
"And yes, if you are still willing to come at the end, I could use your help saving my people. From what I understand A great green wyrm is corrupting the land, twisting it and mutating it with dark magic. Your help may prove invaluable. But I can't help but protest about the lack of ethics that seem to be emanating from our own group. "
She glances towards Rin and shrugs.
"Rin is much like a human.. He's annoying, doesn't take the world too seriously, and adapts easily to any circumstance. Yet I have seen him do nothing that makes me worry for his ethics, worry for his heart. Despite our inherent differences, I trust him, because he's a good person. I trust you, you have the favor of your heritage, and you've done nothing bad during what little time we traveled together.."

"A misunderstanding, HAH! The kagonesti didn't want the help of the silvanesti, so they were enslaved, you call that a misunderstanding, your superior ethics call slavery a misunderstaning. And for me, I live in accordance with Habbakuk, my only reason for being here is him. My sole purpose to to stop the dragonarmy's destruction of natural lands, I have no intention on being in charge of anyone, but everyone has a right to live the way they want, something a silvanesti as yourself does not understand."
Udyr pushes Zane aside, and again points his finger at Serinda.
"STOP THINKING YOUR BETTER THAN EVERYONE, YOU JUDGE ANYONE WHO IS NOT LIKE YOU AND YOU TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE THE DIRT UNDER YOUR FEET! SO JUST SHUT YOUR GODS DAMN MOUTH!"

Forman laughs at Serinda,
"You can no more wipe evil from the face of Ansalon than you can fly to the moon. The seeds of good and evil are sown and they crop up as they will. Once the Dragon Armies are vanquished, I will be going my own way as you will yours. Hopefully you and your kind will not decide to "help" humans as you did the Kagonesti then we very well could end up as combatants."
Forman diggs a finger in his ear, takes it out and looks at it and cringes.
"What i really love is YOU lecturing ME about diplomacy. So I ask you, is speaking down to your fellow traveling companions and insulting friendly giants a thing that all elves do or just you?"
Forman stares at Serinda for a second with a large smile on his face.
He then turns to address Zane,
"I was taught that the natural state of humanity and the world is balanced. I am not certain that a world where the balance is shifted drastically to the side of good is truly optimal."
Forman shakes his head,
"But that is besides the point. A certain set of circumstances have brought us together for a purpose. I think that purpose is clear, stop the dragon armies and prevent this spread of evil in the land. I have not made any plans for what I will do afterwards. I will probably make it up as I go along."

Serinda rolls her eyes at Udyr.
"No, I won't shut my mouth. You say you feel everyone has a right to live the way they want. Yet mere minutes ago you threatened me for speaking my mind, threatening to beat me into unconsciousness. Is this what Habbakuk teaches you? Or is it just your own interpretation, that everyone has a right to be free, unless it happens to inconvenience you. Or you loose your temper, which seems to be about every 10 seconds."
She looks up to the sky as if counting the seconds to another outburst of anger from the human male, finally turning to face him again.
"As for the Kagonesti. Unless i'm very much misinformed they aren't enslaved at this moment. I also believe you weren't there for these events, nor was I. So if you wish to hold me accountable for everything ever done by any Silvanesti, it's really a pointless waste of time. And i could just as easily hold you accountable for the kingpriest and every other crime committed by humanity. But i'm not, merely for your own actions."
Serinda turns to face Forman next.
"And you, don't even begin to compare my complaints about your conducts to what you have done. Even if I'm not a skilled diplomat, I didn't enter someone's own home, someone who invited us in friendship, and then proceeded to threaten and hurt that person. If I acted as you did, I'd have hurt or injured you for not doing as I say, try to bully you into submission. So don't even try to compare our codes of conduct."

Rin walks over to Zane and smiles.
"It's sooo.... good to be back. I missed this, I mean it just sin't a good day unless threats are tossed around you know?"
He pulls a small tankard out of his bag and amazingly it's full of ale.
"So who are you betting on? Serinda, Udyr or Forman.... Personally I'm betting on Serinda.... Granted that's becuase a little birdie told me the fight would be fixed something about puddles of grease surrounding her."
Rin quickly takes a sip from the tankard and then hands it to Zane as he walks into the middle of the fight not really caring if he gets hurt.
"So I see to sides here and more inclined to go along with Serinda simply because of as long as i have now Udyr here he has been at a loss for temper. However I do know one thing we are in the middle of a magical battlefield and it probably best of we keep moving I am here after all. So who knows what oddities might happen around me for just being here."
Rin then looks to Serinda.
"Besides the longer we stay here the longer you are delayed in saving you home."
He then turns to Udyr.
"That also means that you have to endure her longer."
Once again he turns to face Forman this time.
"You won't get that balance you seek as the world will shift to complete evil."
He then walks over and takes the tankard from Zane.
"Zane won't get to kill dragons."
Rin then chuckles.
"Most importantly though I won't get to take the test, which is a good thing so go ahead keep arguing until you're blue in the face. All I know is I have a ring to get made and until I can get to Thorbardin I'm stuck with a ring less diamond. Come on Serinda, I know I'm not normally mean to humans but chances are they may want to talk about this entire thing minus one Elf and one Kenku. It's odd but a lot of human feel uncomfortable talking around non humans. Especially one that can freeze them into solid chunks of ice."
With that Rin starts to walk in the direction he thought the giant was going.

Udyr's form swiftly switches to that of a bear, standing on his hind legs he looks down at Serinda and lets out a massive roar, saliva flying from his mouth at her face. Udyr then drops down to all fours, and walks away growling.

(wow I missed a lot! lol so I think I may have to make up for everything in one post)
As if in slow motion Draug had been side stepped by rin; leaping past him brushing past him feeling the cloth of his robes. The wolf unprepared and preoccupied with the sudden turn of events folds in his legs hitting the ground with such tremendous force sliding a couple feet in his jumps direction. Thankfully no one had noticed noticed the wolf's great folly due to the current events taking place between the "Princess", "Monk", and "Bear".
Looking towards the sky Draug listens to the debate between his three stubborn comrades; the morning sky has dark wisps of clouds taking shape looks like it may snow again he thought that would help cover our tracks and the refugees, this may be the beginning of a great day. No longer willing to maintain his shape a lustrous turquoise glow pulsates from the tattered wolf as he phases out and back in as a man.
Draug raises his head, friends new and old he viewed from his back. Blood ran down one cheek from a small gash on his scalp, but the pale light of dawn had put the glint of auburn back in his hair. Peeling his sore self off from the ground Draug stretches all the kinks and soreness from his body afterwards standing tall and proud as if nothing had happened.
In the rising dawn Draug begins to migrate towards the rest of the group to discuss what must be done before heading to skullcap. The crunching of freshly fallen snow beneath his feet can be heard as he approaches. Upon arrival Draug is not welcomed to a pretty sight Udyr and Serinda are once again at each others throats with Rin and Zane as usual watching from the side lines with what possibly could be a flagon of ale.
(elven) "So what have I missed this time you two? besides of course a glass of Rin's fine alcohol. Serinda and Udyr arguing about who has the biggest ego again? Frankly I believe we should be heading out now before some other sentient anthropoids awaken yes? Don't want to take to much of a beating before we reach skullcap."
pausing for a moment as he watches the "Bear" walk away
"I do think we should most definately remedy the conflict at hand between these two promptly. What do you two envision to be an acceptable accord?"
Draug continues to ask as he glimpses the vacant expressions upon Zane and Rins face.

(love the RP'ing here folks ..one thing I do want to note - and it's possible everyone already knows this and might feel I'm acting too much like a "babysitter" by saying this but I figured I better mention it anyways...
I had one player who had a problem with the RP'ing (Adam the half-devil monk, Serinda might remember him , and I know Rin does from his comments about Adam before ) ... Adam didn't get along with the drow PC in our group at the time, the drow slapped Adam, Adam left the group and then Adam's player dropped out as well - he said it wasn't anything personal against the group he just had a lot of "real life" drama going on and didn't want to deal with even pretend drama in-game too ... which is totally fine of course each player prefers their own thing.
However in my campaign I consider drama like this to be a good thing .. think about the novels and TV shows you've watched, the ones that you really enjoy.. one reason they're enjoyable is probably because they're realistic ... the good guys do NOT always get along with each other .. I draw the line at trying to kill each other or otherwise attack for lethal damage just 'cause someone pissed your PC off (to me that begins to fall into "evil" aligned behavior) but I haven't seen any of the PC's do that to begin with so no worries ... but simple verbal sparring, arguing between heroes is something that happens a LOT in works of fiction - I like to look at the very popular dragonlance novels that were written based on the campaign we're going through right now .. LOTS of arguing between PC's in there ...
My point is this - given how invested we can become in our PC's there's a chance that players might start taking the RP'ing personally, to let your feelings get hurt in "real life"... I've had players take it very personally "in real life" so to speak when someone does something " mean" to their PC to the point where said player states that they're not going to participate in forum RP , they're retreating to "lick their wounds" et cet .. that particular player is no longer with us but one thing I do want to emphasize.. just 'cause a PC is arguing with you doesn't mean their player hates you !
What I'm saying is don't make the mistake of taking forum RP too personally on here - remember that it's just a game and we're all here to have fun ... Serinda is at odds with Forman and Udyr in this campaign but put put all 3 of their players together in say blahness98's cyberpunk campaign and depending on what kind of PC's they come up with and how the game goes all three PC's might become the best of buddies .. which is fine, or if they're arguing with each other in that game that's fine too ! It all depends on what your PC is like and the events that take place in the game - but again, everyone , don't make the mistake of taking it too personally .. there's a tendency for players to want to "censor" their PC's statements in an effort to get along with all the other PC's - I tend to discourage this if it's not "in character" for your PC ... if your PC is naturally a peacemaker to begin with then that's fine but if not ... feel free to be yourself ! ...
I'm probably being way too paranoid here and I'm guessing everyone else already knows this but I wanted to just cover it anyways - I lost two players I think due at least partially to them taking forum RP too seriously and I'd prefer not to see it happen again... )
